Graduate Student Housing

Greetings!

I did a search for housing and didn't find any specific information with regards to this so I thought I would ask around.

As a graduate student coming to Columbia in the Fall, I was just wondering what are some of the best residences around campus for us. To my understanding, grad students have certain residences that they get placed in so any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

thanks skraylor but I have already been to the UAH website. I was looking for some personal experiences, maybe from a graduate student who has lived in residence before and can share which ones I should be requesting?

I used to work for UAH. Did leasing for them, set up computer systems, matched students with apartments, etc. What's your question?

hi denzera, sorry for the late reply, I mean to ask which residences are usually assigned to graduate students and which ones are best (in terms of cleanliness, proximity to school and overall atmosphere).

I actually just found out I got assigned to the Carlton Arms so maybe some insight into that would be helpful as well. thanks.
