chance me?

applying ED

SAT: 2210 (CR:800, M: 680, W: 730)--took again, got 720 M
SAT II: US Hist 790 (I know I need to take more)

ACT: 34

GPA: 4.08 weighted (will come up)

APs: US Hist 5, Chem 5, Comparative Gov 5, Eng Comp 4

Taking Senior Year:-- AP Latin: Vergil, AP Bio, AP Modern Euro, AP AB Calc

took honors Latin and honors Greek, won highest score bracket in natl Latin test three years straight, highest in school on natl greek test in school 2009

Took the absolutely hardest classes offered all four years. Go to a private Catholic high school which sends many people to selective schools.

choir (4 years, secretary), crew captain (4 years), some drama (2 yrs), model un (2 yrs), math team some (2yrs), NHS (2), National Latin honors society (2, running for office), highest honors cat (all semesters), classics club (4 yrs, officer for two)

Interested in studying the classics and political science.

Would like to row at Columbia, not sure if I'm good enough. Love to read, love to exercise. Am funny and personable, sometimes up tight.

I'd say its a reach for you unless you display your personality through your essay, and your teachers and counselor do the same through their recs.

i disagree. the fact that you take two languages will make you stand out.

look at rowing. they had a small lightweight mens class this year and were soliciting walk ons.

as with any ivy league, its a crapshoot but ED has a better rate. Make sure your essay kicks major ass. they really wanna know who u are and you only get one. make sure ur getting solid recomendations too.
