I submitted my application the morning of Nov. 1st and Common App says that Columbia has downloaded both my application and recommendations, but I still haven't gotten any sort of confirmation e-mail. I understand that it may take some time get a detailed confirmation e-mail with my Columbia ID, but aren't you supposed to receive an e-mail acknowledging receipt relatively immediately after submitting your app?

I received a confirmation email from the Common App shortly after submitting my application on the 31st. Nothing from Columbia yet, though today I received an interview request from an alumnus. I wouldn't worry. We should receive emails from Columbia soon.

Same here...I EAed to Fordham and so I got today an e-mail from them...still no e-mail from Columbia though.

I received mine today too. But they misspelled my first name. It has an accent, so I'm guessing that maybe the system didn't recognize the character...but I'm worried that I won't be able to access my account or that my application (which has my correct name) won't be associated with the account. Should I send an e-mail or is it an insignificant mistake?
