Hi. Currently Senior and I was wondering if I had any shot in getting in Columbia?

Let's assume my extra currics are up to par, I've done some amazing work, gotten a lot of honors, have volunteered a lot in the community, my essays are above decent, and I have 3 outstanding recs.

I'm still waiting for my last SAT, hopefully CR rose.

get your SAT a bit up, and you'll mix in with the rest of the applicants (aka no guarantees, but at least you have a shot)

Study that CR really hard, send it in late, and superscore it in January. Then you'll be in the mix, as collegeftw predicted. It'd definitely be helpful for us to know about your hooks and leadership positions though.

AV Squad Captain-have directed a staff to coordinate AV for plays many times
Volunteer at 2 Hospitals- 150+ hours for over two years
NYU Precollege- took 2 courses over 2 summer
AP Scholar
Principals List 6 times
Science Olympiad and Mathlete Team Leader Won Twice and Once, respectively
Model Congress- NY Senator- won a gavel
College Bowl Team Co Captain- won 3rd place citywide, and currently in the middle of a metropolitan wide contest
MSG Varsity- videographer and editor
Comanaged father's company- created website, online marketing plan, advertising
Shadowed a doctor in UMass Hospital last summer
....There's more, but I'm pretty lazy to write them all

URM- I'm Turkish/Egyptian if it counts.. i'm not quite sure
