don't worry Pitt13, a lot of people are expecting rejection (including myself!) but you never know what the college admission officer might find in your application that could jump out at him. btw only 4 minutes before we can track our application status! haha

Little obsessive, but can anyone track their app? It is telling me that it is not ready yet.

Edit: Take it back, its up

Or rather, why haven't they received/processed so much of my stuff if I turned it in awhile ago?

I RLY wanna get acceptance so desperately. It will be brutal for me as an Asian international, but I still give it a try. If I get rejections from both Columbia ED and UChicago this Dec, I feel like I'll suffer from nightmares till march.
Basic stats- 2240 SAT1, 790Math2c, 780 chem, top5% GPA, AP psych, macro micro econ, enviro sci, Calc bc, comparative gov (5)
Hope my business program in Columbia and using its dorms for 2 weeks help... and my reference letter from the chairman of the national assembly of my country which I got from my internship
I sooo wanna get in... If I get admitted, it will be the best Christmas present EVER!!

@hobbesette, Idk for your case. I've sent my app on Oct.31st and my admission status indicates they all have my transcript+SAT score+ rec etc

Hmmm that's strange because when I called in today they said that they had everything... Does that mean that my app tracker just isn't updated...?

That's possible, I guess. I suppose it takes some time to update your online status.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it means they don't have your scores. Did you send them recently? They can sometimes take a while to process. *shrugs*

I sent in my ED application on October 30th and have yet to get an email or anything from Columbia. (I got the Common App confirmation.)

Do I need to contact them to be able to get on the Application Tracker, or do I just need to be patient and wait for them to contact me?

@cat987 -- I'm in the same circumstance as you, except I submitted the Common App and its Supplement on October 24th. I e-mailed them last night at about midnight and have yet to receive a reply; I'm hoping to get my Columbia ID soon so that I can check my application status online.

For application status, are all it shows just whether they received scores, transcripts, teacher rec, etc?

@cat987 and Colum2017 that's weird because I submitted my app on November 5th and I got a confirmation from Columbia on the 7th... Check your spam perhaps?
