You have an excellent shot at a good MBA program from either school.
Maybe consider the environment, housing, community and other factors besides simply academics?
However, I do know that many Stern graduates don't immediately get their MBA; the Stern program prepares you for business in a way Columbia won't, as much. However, you'd get an excellent, well-rounded liberal arts education at Columbia, whereas you'd take maybe 3-4 courses outside Stern at NYU.
