you guys remember that one that was like, "a/|a| + b/|b| + c/|c| + abc/|abc|" and asked what is in the solutions set for nonzero integers?

I got [-4, -2, 0, 2, 4], as each one can only be either one or negative one.. you guys?

I screwed up the last 5 challenge math questions because I forgot they were there ! I don't think I got much else wrong. Probably 49/50 math (I always mess up one or two), 72/75 science, and 14-15 on challenge math. I answered everything except the last 5 challenge math problems (D'oh). Do you think I got in?

@Kappadesu I got {-4, 0, 4} because for you to get 2, three of the four terms would have to be 1, and only one to be -1. I made a list of all cases, and that's not possible.

Also for the greatest three digit even number where hundreds digit and one digit is interchangeable, that number was 898 right, so the answer was 25?

I got 28 cents for that question, and 864 for the cube one (because there were different units, there were both inches and feet).

Scores

CCers,

As a sophomore, I think I scored 60-63/75 science questions correctly, 49/50 easy math (darn R and E problem), and 16/20 challenge math. In your honest opinions, will i get in? Thank you and have a nice day.

I got pretty much the exact same score as the above person, and also as a sophomore.
I hope I get in @_@.

What did you guys get for the probability of choosing a perfect square, and also the sheep overall profit one?

1. Probability of choosing perfect square, I got .08. Reason being you have 3/4*3/50 of a chance of choosing 64, 81, and 100 and a 1/4*7/50 chance of choosing 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49. Thus, you answer is 16/200 = 8/100 = .08.

2. Sheep one was: (x+49*(x/700))/(x) = 107/100 --> 7/100 = 7.0 percent.
