No i just wanted a general idea of it.
Is the Communal bathroom in JJ just pretty much a public restroom for the people on that floor?
Shared Showers?
etc

yea, its like a regular public bathroom with stalls and urinals....the showers are private....they are very....cozy....though, not very much room to move around, but there is a curtain separating u and the rest of the bathroom.

1) why didnt you put this in the same thread as your other john jay post?
2) why is this not in the 2011 forum?

3) Why are you so worried? Scared about revealing intimate details about yourself in the bathroom, ^^?

They were...not my favorite aspect of living in JJ. The chances of finding some mess from the previous night each weekend morning were fairly high, and the smell was such that we had to leave the window wide open, with interesting results on subzero winter days...

c2007 had a bad floor then.
from my experience (and other people's on other floors), it isnt unheard of to have someone throwup in a sink/toilet/urinal and leave it there but thats really a weekend thing.
since it is a communal bathroom tho, MOST people treat it as what it is: the only one they have. this means they tend to clean up after themselves (even if its the next morning)
also, we've had to leave the windows open in the winter too but not because of the smell (because the heaters were on full blast and made it a sauna in there when it was 2 degrees out)

I wonder what your reaction would be if you see someone pooping in a urinal.

JJ bathrooms are at least cleaned every day during the weekdays. The worst part about Hartley-Wallach was that the bathrooms were cleaned once a week, so they got really nasty. And I think our bathroom was cleaned on Thursday, so if someone puked all over a stall on Friday night, it would be nasty for a week.
