Yeah. Coming here to find out about an application process is like going to a car insurance company to test drive that shiny new Prius.

I just bought a shiny new Prius! I'm in love with the thing. And like you said, my insurance company is not. ='(
Okay total add moment right there. If I actually believed in that disease i'd say i have it. Does that make any sense?

for what it's worth, there's at least one mistake in the pamphlet. Columbia moved to midtown in 1857.

Do you guys have any advice on how to get into Columbia? (especially from those who got in. Will you post your resume?) Thanks

I'm currently a student at Columbia (SEAS '11) and this link will serve you quite well as a Columbia student:

Two threads I should add in the
"Columbia vs [other school]" category, because I keep having to look them up:
Columbia vs. Princeton Columbia vs Princeton ED <-- my post #5 on this thread is probably the best thing i've written on this board
There are similar quality threads for other peer schools, so if you find some by searching the archives, feel free to drop links here.

This thread is goddamn amazing. I seldom think of looking at it but really, everything you need is right up there at the top of the board.

I particularly enjoyed the Barnard thread. I guess with how much it takes to get into Columbia, people can't stand the thought of anyone stepping in on their limelight.
