Studied and lived abroad in Sevilla, Spain Subjective:- Essays: My main one, I really liked it.. it’s about the song “The World is Yours” by Nas (it’s kinda my whole ideology.. I even have the tattoo but I chose not to write about that in my essay)
My “Why Columbia” essay was all about the intricacies that I love (How Carman residents leave their doors open to each other, tobogganing down the Low Library steps on John Jay lunch trays, etc.) - Teacher Recs: One whose daughter goes to Columbia, one that might’ve been mediocre from my 10th grade AP Psych teacher?
- Counselor Rec: Written by a diff counselor than my own but my mom got the chance to read it and said it was good?
- Hook (if any): No clue? Just an average girl lol

Honestly if you like open doors and tobaggoning on trays Columbia probably wasn;t the best fit anyway. So much more of this at Dartmouth, Princeton, or Brown. Columbia is a much more urban place. |
