Any accepted students getting boatloads of mail and email from Columbia
I have, it is absolutely ridiculous. Today is the very first day, excluding sundays, that I haven't gotten mail from them, in at least two weeks.

You mean the letters from alumni, students, random things they send you like, "hey, Columbia's cool!" etc?
I assume that it's just what Columbia does.

Same! I've received maybe 6 letters and countless emails.
It's a nice touch, even though some of them are form mailings.

Do you guys get any cool stuff (t-shirts, bumper stickers, etc.) at least? All I got from Columbia was a DOC shirt.

A small bumper sticker came with acceptance packets (Color Shock brand, so at least they're good quality). Otherwise, zip...the goody bags at DoC consisted of an apple, a bottle of water, and a cookie.
It's times like these that I wish there was an "eye-rolling" smilie on CC...

Wow, NightOwl... way to bash on Barnard before you've even been to Columbia! You're not even a current student.. maybe you shouldn't discriminate until you've at least interacted with a Barnard student at least once. ;p

Yeah, the constant mail really is a nice touch. However, I am currently very unhappy because I didn't get a bumper sticker like NightOwl!

^Unfair!
I didn't even get this alleged bumper sticker...
Though I suppose the night bus tour at the accepted students thing qualifies as them spending money on us.

Yeah, but I was still able to smootch off a MUN t-shirts, so all is not lost...
But look on the bright sight, once we get to CU, we can get all kinds of columbia stuff.
