| Hmm... I wonder what would happen if someone emailed Columbia about these waitlist accpetances and ask why the letter said differently. Any brave souls out there? |

| I called Columbia and the lady told me that you would be notified BY May 15th. I'm not sure if she knew what she was talking about, but that was what she told me. | |

cawcaw, we'd been told that if an accepted student with a similar profile declined admission, Columbia would be looking at students with similar interests, background, etc.
but, I gotta say, with great students they cannot go wrong. congrats to all! | |

"We have begun to admit some students from the waitlist, but it is an ongoing process through the month of June. You should not take it as a bad sign that you haven’t heard."
