| An extended waitlist? I'd rather be rejected than get put onto such a thing. |

| Or, Narcissa, many people whom they accepted simply have little incentive to go.
Flaunting minuscule acceptance rates doesn't do much when a school's yield ultimately stinks.
Of course, relative to other top national universities. |

| I'm seriously losing it. I can't sleep all night in fear and paranoia, and all I can think of is the waitlist. This is MADDENING!
I think they're done with selecting everyone, and now it depends on how many accept..
Oh, good lord--I'm going mad. |

| @andromeda: I don't think that's true. From what I understand from what my college counselor (who has spoken to my regional admissions rep, they're not done by any means. Hang on dude! I'm in the exact same position. |

| mmeyers,
When your counselor talked to the regional representative, was he given any information regarding the dates we will receive our answers? It seems like the May 15th - July 1st dates were abandoned...
Seriously it really is nerve-wrecking. I have nightmares about the wait list every night, can't stop thinking about it during the day... I keep wanting to call the office every 5 mins. to ask them about openings, etc. I just hope I get off. |
