i think thats just what they say until they have a definate date but really itll probably come out around the 12th or so... it came out before the 15th the last 4 years or so... they should be emailing us the day it comes out some time this week

entr0py, did you call today? Someone called yesterday and got "before the 15th". Gah, I wonder if no one really knows yet...I mean we should get an email when Columbia figures out when they're posting decisions, right? :/ I WANT TO FIND OUT ALREADY! OR AT LEAST FIND OUT WHEN I'M GONNA FIND OUT!!!

And calculus for engineering is not easy, because our teacher just throws half-assed proofs at us, doesn't explain the applications, then sometimes tests on applications and sometimes doesn't.

isnt it weird that there are more posts on columbia ed 2013 even though the decisions have yet to come out than there are in the whole 2012 columbia ed thread... i guess its just a show of how tough the competition is this year.... best of luck to everyone!!!!

Yea I called the Ugrad Admissions office and got a rep and he said we could get the email on the 15th. The thing is, I went to visit Columbia this summer and I could see the reps (they were Graduate students) which explained why he sounded so young. I guess he must've just assumed it was the 15th.

yeah i still kind of think that's just like the general date but not necessarily the like EXACT date, since yesterday i called and they said "before the 15th".

hmmmm... 10 days ago was the monday before thanksgiving, that doesn't seem that long ago at all. and the 12th was only eight days ago, the day before thanksgiving.

OMG! ITS GONNA BE HERE BEFORE WE KNOW IT.

but can you imagine how many pages there are gonna be in this forum before that time though... im guessing at least 50!

haha i knoww! when you look at like the 2012 or 2011 threads like the day decisions come out (which they apparently do after 5 pm) there are like 20 pgs before anyone starts getting the emails haha! i can only imagine what well be like!

haha it seems that we are the most paranoid and nervous of all the ivy leauge ED'ers... their boards seem WAY slower than Columbia... well im the kind that worry about the smallest things, so if we all make it, i guess i'll have lots of company next year =D

its really sad how i cant get anything done. i have a final paper for english and 6 final exams next week. decisions must come out soon otherwise i will go crazy (i think that already happened)
