I still don't believe it.

Rejected. Simple reason: I'm white. I was upset earlier, but i'm over it. I've been realizing that I probably wouldn't enjoy living in New York City. Oh well, congratulations to those who got in.

dblockk09 looks like Columbia really looks past the numbers. I also got in with a fairly low SAT, but i worked my a** off writing the essay.

i can't believe its over.

all those days and weeks of built up tension, and just like that we all know and this thread becomes useless, a figment of the past. something for future columbia hopefuls to read as an insight into what might become of themselves.

it's sad.

and this is the 1243rd post. that's a freakin' lot!

so many posts!

well, it's sad that i was rejected, but i just wanted to say thanks guys, this thread really made me realize that there are so many more people going through the same thing as me. congrats to everyone who got in. you're gonna love it. i guess i just wasn't meant to go there :-/ would've loved to meet everyone haha.

and to all those who are like me who didn't get in, it's not the end of the world. and i realized that today. things don't always work out the way you want them too. but we learn from it and eventually succeed. we'll all end up where we're meant to.

thanks again guys.
