when i say crapload it's not an insult. i mean "crapload" as "a lot" not like "oh that's bull****" i wasn't calling anybody a piece of poop.

i am just surprised that many kids from one class went to an ivy league school. from where i'm from its a big deal if just one goes. that's all i was trying to say.

sorry for the misunderstanding, i have nothing but love for you guys.

haha i wont. i just have to watch what phrases i use, i guess. because obviously "crapload" has a different meaning to others than it does to me. maybe i should have said "buttload" or "s**t-ton."

thank you. now i don't feel like such an idiot.

he said that "comparatively to that of pretty much anybody who is Ivy League material, [my] logical and reasoning skills are a crapload" and that no one should explain why that's the case because it's a futile effort.

that seriously hurt!

someone was angry!! and misunderstood to top it all off.

Yeah... rough life. Although, I did that to some girl on College Carrot, but she was legitimately rude and deserved to be firmly educated. I digress.

Anyway, on the main topic---I've had actual admissions people talk to my counselors and tell them that what sucks is that 1. I'm Asian. 2. I come from NY. 3. I'm female. And all of the above were NOT what they were looking for.

^ really? The admissions rep who came to our school said we're at a slight advantage for being in NY. But yeah... the Asian factor sucks... I'm there with you T.T

Your gender doesn't matter one way or another. Coming from NY is no worse than being from any other coastal state, and being Asian is no worse than being white. Stop trying to play the victim card -- you act as if they say "oh she's an asian from NY, discard pile."

Haha, I only just realized after reading the above posts that C2002 mistook the phrase 'crapload' to mean 'load of crap'. No wonder.. I was like, why is he so PO'd? haha.

Future reference: crapload = a large quantity
