Is Emma Watson really going to Columbia?

https://directory.columbia.edu/people/uni?code=cew2133

So have there been any reports from reputable sources verifying it? And what IS the "school of continuing education" ?

hopefully we'll get the harry potter star! I always thought actors/actresses would like being in New York City.

Here's what we know so far: The Bwog: Hermione to Columbia? (UPDATED)

Neither Emma Watson or Warner Bros. has released an official statemnt with regards to Emma's college plans. Until they do, I'm going to treat this as a rumour - don't want to get too excited :P.

I doubt it's the same Emma. If it were, she'd be enrolling in Columbia College, not the school of continuing education.

Yes, you and every other student.

Even with Franco you have Barnard girls crowding Butler dressed up in heels and club make-up whenever he pops up in a reading room. People going up to him with their visiting families to take pictures, an increase in inane BWOG posts, texting networks (to track and spot him), a franco-watch blog and sycophant MFA and undergrad film students circling the guy whenever he's at Dodge to look at their script. Not to mention tour guides pointing and whispering whenever a guy that even looks like him walks by...oh and the selling Butler as "a great place to catch a whiff of the actor James Franco" of course (Really? That's how you sell an ivy league library?).

I've actually witnessed about half of those things myself- including a group of guys following him around as he was exiting Butler desperately trying to get his cell # for a party that weekend. Now can you imagine the craze if you replace that with a cute girl of international fame; an undergrad no less? **** that.

Maybe it's just that I lack the fame enthrallment but that's a headache I'm glad to be avoiding.

You know it could actually be her, because people who've had a break of or over an year have to enroll in continuing studies. I think. Hope it's true...

Yea, there's a linkedin w/ a Charlotte Watson in the UK who works for a jewelry company or something..and it says she's going to the Columbia School Continuing Studies. She's already went to other schools before.

I'm guessing Emma's going to Brown since they removed her name from the directory there, but not to Columbia b/c that name hasn't been removed and her email address for the school was provided--they honestly wouldn't provide Emmas...
