I think attendence to this program will help by showing interest in Columbia, and I guess it shows that those who are accepted are considered competitive candidates.
I haven't even thought about what I should bring lol. Just your reg. overnight stuff I'm guessing. Oh and prob. a good bit of money. I don't know about you guys but we're gonna be in NYC w/o parents for 3 days! wohooo! sooo i'm definitely trying to have a good time!
just out of curiosity, how many people do you think applied for this program? because, well, does anyone find it weird that everyone who posted on here about applying the program was accepted. feelings on that?
well honestly the people who write on these forums probably wouldn't be considered the "average" applicant. From experience I know that CC posters are usually a little bit more intense so that probably shows through applications as well. Just my thought. But only about five people on here actually replied that they got in...and 50 were accepted.
those were good points and i wasn't trying to descredit anyone. i was simply curious. and what do you mean by what school? right now i go to a school in colorado but i will be applying to columbia, cornell, and brown. as my ivies.

I actually went to CE^2. I really encourage anyone who has been accepted to go there. It does reflect well on you. The best thing you can do for your chances of actual acceptance is to show those around you and the admissions who the real you is. You need to actually let go of any hindrance and put your best foot forward, and yet dont be an ass. I know a lot of ppl that went to CE^2 and chose to apply to columbia, got in.
