Columbia Engineering Experience

Did anyone else get an invitation to apply for the Columbia Engineering Experience? Does anyone have any information about it?

I got an invite. Can't figure out how to fill out the application. Information regarding the CE2 would be very helpful. I sent in my essays, just need to get my school to fax my transcript with my senior courses on it.

Well I'm guessing that you just hand write all the information about the engineering fields and your courses and activites. You can fax your essays and transcripts in along with it i'm sure

hey folks - look for drake332 (or something like that) on here and write him a private message. he attended last year, applied i believe either early or through some program and was admitted.

beyond that, talk to the admissions office, far more help than someone on here.

Yeah, I faxed my forms, emailed my essays and had my school fax my transcript, so everything is in now. We'll see if I get accepted

Hey guys! Would any of you mind sharing your high school statistics?
Rank, GPA, SAT scores, academic schedule, AP/IB courses and scores?
I'd just like to get a feel of who applied to the program along with me, haha.

OH and also I'm african american. I only say this because it asks for ethnicity and it is a program by the "multicultural recruitment committee". Was this application only sent to minorities?

Here are my stats:

URM (Hispanic male). I believe it was only sent to minorities.

Rank: 61/732
GPA: 3.85 Unweighted
SAT: 2190: 800M, 740W, 650CR
Schedule - AP English Literature and Composition, AP Calculus BC, AP Human Geography, AP Government and Politics, String Orchestra, Cross Country / Track & Field,
Taken 5 AP's previously (AP Scholar With Distinction)

Actually, Columbia is not on my "application" list, I'm hoping that if invited to this program, I can get a feel for the school as a whole and see if it fits my definition of a school I'd like to attend. I will definitely NOT be applying early decision for Columbia.
Schools I am applying to:
Harvard, MIT, Caltech, Stanford (Considering EA), Cornell, Cal, Princeton, Yale, a couple of others....hopefully I"ll add Columbia to the list.
