I haven't submitted everything. So for us ED-ers, our first semester grades aren't even seen before decisions are made? Hm.

Hey everyone, I'm an asian american from NJ and I'm going to be applying to Columbia College for an Economics Degree. Got all my recommendations done and even the interview completed. Just going to wait for my October SAT scores to come out before I send everything in.

Do you guys know how significant teacher recommendations are to Columbia College?

This is what it says on CU's website:
Recommendations - which provide evidence of intellectual curiosity and promise, classroom and school and community participation, and overall potential for the candidate to make an impact at Columbia, in the classroom and beyond

By the way, hi everyone. My name is Monica and I'm doing ED too. I'm in the process of revising my essay and then I'll submit everything! I'm so nervous.

^I disagree. Imagine not getting in and being in a group called that. It would be odd when you end up going to another college.

How would it be odd? That's why it's called "hopefuls"?

wait, can we get an interview if we've submitted Part 1 but not Part 2? I was under the apparently incorrect impression that we had to submit both. Woops, I should get on this.
