Does Columbia have an actual Spanish major? I went to a Columbia seminar in which they passed out "the blue book." On the back was the list of majors, and Spanish was not listed. I noticed they had Hispanic Studies, but is that actually in Spanish? Or just the study of Hispanic Cultural/Literature but in English? And if Columbia does in fact of a Spanish major, is a strong department?
