Do I stand a chance?

I am very much wanting to go to Columbia University, but I don't feel like my crudentials are good enough. I'm pretty smart, but I never really challenged myself, and now it's too late to do anything about it.
Do I have any chances of going to Columbia? Or transfering?
4.6 Weighted GPA
4.0 Unweighted
Two APs, Chem and Calc
1800 SAT
Many clubs and thing like that.

If I went to UF for undergrad, could I go to Columbia for grad?

You are either an international or you have a poor grasp on the English language. Either one will disadvantage you.

Your chances are low based on stats/your inability to list specific EC's.

Alrighty, sorry about that. I don't know how to edit so I'll repost here. I want to go to Columbia, but by the time I wanted to go, I realized I hadn't really challenged myself too much in high school. Please tell me my chances.

4.6 Weighted GPA
4.0 Unweighted GPA
AP Chemistry
AP Calculus
1800 SAT Score
Math Honor Society for 3 years, VP then president.
Swim team for 2 years.
Interact club for a year.
Robotics club, 2 years.
Academic team, 3 years.
Hopefully killer essays.

I just wish I could go back in time and take more AP classes.

If it matters, I am in Florida. Maybe I can go to UF and transfer?

It isn't the AP classes, Engineerjw, you have a really low SAT grade. If you had a 2400, with no APs, you'd be in a very different situation.

Apply to UF - it is a great school. The SAT just isn't there, and if you're a senior, you don't have the time to get it there.

I do have time. So, if I can improve my SAT I can stand a chance? I actually am awaiting scores for a more recent one I took and I think I'll do really well. If I can get a 2000, do you think I can make it, with early decision?

Not Columbia.

I think if you score a 2010+, you'll stand a chance at some other, respectable, New York City schools. Are you a junior?

What are your reasons for applying to Columbia?

Good economics bachelors' program. Good prep for lawyer.

PS-So I don't stand a chance?

I don't think so. If you get a 2010+ or so, NYU has a {very good} economics program, and their Politics {pre-law} major is second to none.

Research New York University. It is, by far, in a much nicer location than Columbia. And the program is more reachable for you. No, your credentials {as far as the SAT is concerned, at least} even with a 2000+ are not Columbia.

Unless you are going to a vocational, or for-profit college, your undergraduate school plays little role in where you go for graduate. You can very well go to UF for a bachelor's and go to Columbia for Law. You can also get straight A's at NYU or UF {if you get in, 1800 is low for NYU also, whose average plays with the 2000 line}, find/have a compelling reason for a Columbia transfer, and outstanding out-of-this-world recommendation, and transfer in. None of it is likely.

Unless you have some outstanding achievement you are not mentioning, you will be rejected from CU with those scores.

I really regret not taking a different schedule. I will my whole life. If I could go back in time I'd take AP Euro Hist in 10th; AP Calc, English, and U.S. History in 11th, and AP Stat, Bio, English in 12th. Would all of those have been better?

-Thanks for the input. Do you think I could go to UF with a bachelors' and then go to CU for graduate?
