what if you get a 580 in math II? i was sick on the actual day and i can obviously do so much better. but i am scared that columbia might hold this against me even if i retake it and score like 750+. i am retaking math I btw. also should a 650 in physics be retaken? i am only applying for a english major.

I have a question along the same lines -I earned a 710 in US History (which I am fine with as I am just now taking AP US History and have no rigorous formal history background but rather just an aptitude) and a 660 in Literature. This seems a little low for me, but I need to know if I should retake quickly. I am applying ED and I read somewhere that Columbia will accept November SAT scores. Are the subject tests such an important facet of the admissions process that retaking would benefit me?

I don't know about 'should' be retaken but if you feel you can do better, I would take the tests again, if you have the time/money.
