Final Chance before I Submit

I am applying to Columbia ED, so this is my dream school.

Basics:
- Gender: Male
- Ethnicity: Chinese-Vietnamese-American
- School: Public
- Cumulative GPA: 3.9 (Weighted: 4.3)
- Class rank: Top 10% (My school doesn't use weighted gpa, but if it did, I'd be in top 4%)

Testing:
- SAT I: 1980
- SAT II: US History - 650, Biology - 640
- ACT: 29
- AP: US History - 4, Spanish - 3, Biology - 3

Grades:
- 9th Grade: World History (A/A), English (A/A), Geometry (A/A), Biology (A/A), Spanish 2 (A/A)
- 10th Grade: English (A/A), Honors Algebra 2 (A/A), Honors Chemistry (A/A), Spanish 3 (A/A), Intro to Art (A/A)
- 11th Grade: AP US History (A/A), English (A/A), Honors Pre Calc (A/A), AP Biology (A/B), AP Spanish (A/A), Honors Physics (B/A)

Senior Schedule: AP Calc, AP Stats, AP Euro, English, Drawing & Painting, Gov/Econ

Extracurriculars, etc.:
- Youth In Government (Shadowed local officials and presented in mock City Council meeting)
- California Scholarship Federation
- National Honors Society
- Interact (service club)
- Renaissance award for Art (only one person per grade level receives)
- Published poem in school anthology
- AP Scholar
- Interned for a computer programmer over the summer

Majors:
- Computer Science
- Architecture
- Accounting/Business

have you submitted yet? if youre planning on taking the SAT's again, and think you'll do better, then you might wanna rethink ED

I haven't submitted it yet. I thought I did really well on the October SAT, but I ended up getting. I might retake the SAT for schools I am applying RD to. Do you think Columbia would at least defer?

I think you should take the SATs again, but ED is probably still a good idea. Even if you get deferred, telling Columbia that they're your first choice always helps

^I agree. If Columbia is your "dream school," apply ED but keep focused on your other applications as well.

Thanks for the advice leah and pbr! I am going to retake the SAT in Dec.

Do you guys think I should bother sending my ACT score? I have to pay 9 dollars to send it.
