SAT Subject Test Horror

Hello. My Math II scores are abysmally low - 590. I took it again and got 750. This was mainly due to the fact that I was sick on the test day. What should I do? I have a feeling Columbia will compromise my application because of this. The rest of my application is fine.

Why didn't you cancel the scores if you were sick? Well Columbia wants to see all scores, so I guess you're out of luck. The admissions committee will not reject you just because of ONE Sat II score. Besides, you took it a second time and did much better! Good luck.

I don't see how showing massive improvement is a bad thing.

you got a 750 the second time... its not a big deal. improvement is good. i dont think they will penalize you at all. not really sure if you need to explain yourself...
