| URGENT: Secondary School Report
Can the Secondary School Report be done online, or does it HAVE to be sent in by mail?
If online, is it part of the guidance counselor recommendation?

"In addition to the application forms you are able to complete online, there are a few forms that are necessary to download, print, and mail into our office. You will find these additional forms here in pdf format. To download pdf forms, you will need a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Please see the "Additional Information" section on the right of this screen to learn more about Adobe Acrobat."
The above is copied from the website. I think you can sumbit your recommendation letters online, but have to mail the secondary school report.

But I talked to my guidance counselor, and he said that he filled out the secondary school report when he received the email from Columbia that asked him for his recommendation.
I also called Columbia's Office of Undergraduate Admissions, and they said that the Secondary School Report can be done online. However, the person I talked to seemed sort of out of it, so I don't really know...
I'm going to call again on Monday and check.

Also, if it turns out that the only way to send it WAS online, then do you think they will still accept it? If I FedEx it to be delivered within a day or so.

The secondary school report can be done online, but I believe it can only be done if your school can upload your transcript. If they can't, they'll need to send a copy through the mail. If your counselor said he already filled out the form online, it doesn't sound like you have much to worry about (though maybe I'm misreading something.)

Thanks, I was freaking out about this.
Also, if it turns out that it HASN'T been sent in, it will show up when I check my application, right? They say you can check what parts of your application have been turned in on November 1st. If it says it hasn't been sent, then I'll just ask my counselor to fill it out and I"ll FedEx it.

Yeah, my counselor did the report online with my recommendation. Like another person mentioned, they have to be able to upload your transcript in order to do this fully online, but I watched my counselor fill in my scores and upload my transcript and everything. It's definitely an option if you want to do it online.
