DESPERATE! Retake 2100 SAT I or do SAT II's?!

I'd like to ED at Columbia but I'm currently in a bind. My new SAT score is currently a 2100 : 740 M / 740 V / 620 W . That new writing section killed me especially the essay which I got an 8 on. I was really hoping for 2200+ but that new writing annihilated any hope I had.

Now my current situation stands: Should I retake the SAT I in Oct and take my SAT II's in November? Will this make the ED Deadline? I'm very dissatisfied with that SAT I score but am really scared of missing the deadline as well.

Thanks.

Well, if you're worried about missing the deadline for the SAT I, shouldn't you also be worried about missing it for your SAT IIs? Have you taken any SAT IIs yet? If not, you should take them.

I believe that the November SAT II's will arrive in time for ED applicants; however, one call the admissions office and you'll know right away.
