Hey guys!

My interview for UWC Pearson is in two weeks and I'm so nervous! Hopefully I can seek some advice here!

What type of interview questions do they ask you in front of the panel? How do you stand out from all the other wonderful candidates with exceptional EC's, grades, and references?

Any advice will help!

@mayzou

Some questions which they asked me during the dutch(in the Netherlands) selections were sort of this:

-what is it that you so much like about uwc?
-How do you pass your time outside of school?
-can you give us any negative qualities of yourself?
-a lot of questions about my interests
-what are you planning to do this summer?

Yeah well sort of those things, but it was more a conversation than an interview. And YES!! I foud it very nerve wracking: I remember myself afterwards running back to the main building(where the rest of the activities found place) as fast as I could just to get lose of all this energy which was cramped up. It was such a strange feeling.

Anyway, good luck! In which country are you taking the selection process?

@Apollo
just wondering: does your daughter only gets home during the main breaks(winter and summer)? And does the fact that she is already at a college affects in any way the selection process of your son?

I'm heading to UWC-USA too, dr1976! You should join our Facebook group if you already haven't. See you there!

I'm headed to UWCCR! I think a Davis Scholars Class of '14 facebook group should be created. Apparently there's a real lack of connection between US UWCers compared to other countries, because most other countries are small enough that there can one spot where every applicant congregates. I want to know what's going down in other UWCs!

I'm glad you got Costa Rica, Rainycity! But your poor parents! After two years of sunshine you may never want to return to your rainy city ;-) Congratulations!

If you are a U.S. UWC student or alumnus who got in as a junior after being denied as a sophomore, I would like to pm you with some questions. My S will be reapplying. We're wondering if they will keep his original application on file and whether we will have to resend test scores etc.

Hi, I am from Singapore and I recently applied for the scholarship and got an interview for this Saturday! I am incredibly nervous and shocked (plus ecstatic!) that I got an interview. I was wondering if anyone is aware of the nature of the questions the interviewers would ask? Also I am aware that people have said that the NCs hold picnics and the interviews proceed from there. Are the interviews 1-to-1, or are they conducted in a group?

I am incredibly scared but have been dreaming of this for a bit now, and I would be devastated if I didn't get a place! Really hope I can get the scholarship, even if partial! My top choices are UWC USA, UWC Atlantic and UWC Adriatic, in no order.
