Question about extracurricular

Okay. I'm a senior now. I'm deciding to join beta club and it is going to be my first year of joining beta club. I have one thing I don't understand. If I were to Beta club for extracurricular and it asks you for how long you have you been in the club, how long do I put? because I'll be applying to college in the middle of my senior year so that means that I'll be in the club for half a year and I'm planning to do it for the whole year. But at the time of the application, it's half a year. So in the application do I put half a year or a year?
Another issue: okay I've been in FBLA during my junior year and barely participated but they put my name on it so would that be considered a year or not?

The Common App has little circles that you click to fill in, indicating grade(s) you participated. Fill in the circle for "12" for Beta Club. There are also boxes for you to fill in "hours per week" and "weeks per year." For a 12th grade activity, it's ok to project for these. For your junior year FBLA, you would end up putting however many hours per week you participated, as well as weeks per year, so it would be apparent if you barely participated. Be careful about listing activities you barely participated in, though, as it can look like you're trying to pad your application by listing insignificant activities.
