| How many ECs are you guys listing?
I know that there isn't any "set number," but I was just wanted to get an idea of how many I should list. How many extracurriculars are you guys listing in the activities section of the Common App?

I'm listing 7 but taking 8 spots (my main EC can't be explained in 100 characters...) but however many you list will be fine (even 3 ECs with a lot of depth is good!!)

No, but I have 3 or 4 that are only 2 years. All of my Extracurriculars (except for one) are ones that I'm still doing. However, there's nothing wrong with a 1 year EC, just put it towards the end of the list.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking of doing. So far, most of the ones I'm listing are only two years, but I have a couple that are all four years, and I am still doing all of them.

I only have like 5 major ones though :/ The other ones I either only did for one year or didn't put a lot of time and effort into them.

I have like three major ones that consumed most of my free time. My biggest one I've only been doing for a couple years too, although I've been doing it nonstop for those years, every week, covering most of my free time. I'm going to add a couple minor ones as well, but I have much less EC's than most other people. Hope it's not too few.

I have all ten slots filled, but three of the slots are summers (a summer program after 9 and two separate lab internships after 10 & 11).
