Can I use this as an extracurricular?

I am usually home alone till 5:30-6:00ish and usually make dinner and bake something for my family. Overall I have an interest in baking and usually try to make a new recipe or baked good each week. Does it count?

Every year we get this question. Does baking reflect any college-related skills or personal qualities they seek in their freshmen? If you are the next "Julie & Julia," it could/maybe/might make a good esay.

This is really more of a hobby than an extracurricular activity.

I don't think so. You can't even say it's community service since...well, they are your own family.
