My best (by far) extracurricular activity was an internship I did for a long time. It falls under paid employment, but I'm afraid they're really looking more at the extracurriculars above the employment stuff, and they won't look closely at the bottom section if the top isn't that great. Is this totally off base? I've always heard colleges pretty much set aside low grades, and I'm worried ones that value ECs a lot will do the same for that. I did do the short writing thing about the internship.
