my counselor says she would only write me 3 letters

I'm in a Canadian highschool, we had a new counselor who just came in this year
I haven't been in that school for long neither, so i had my resume and all ready, went to her and asked for rec letters but she says ok i can write u letters but max 3.
after a lot of conversation (i told her she can photocopy them....or can she?), she finally agrees to write me 5.
but I'm applying for 7 schools! i know in some cases it's not recommended, yet i really need her recs since i have everything else ready..
what should i do ?

She only has to write one, sign it, and then photocopy it. As long as she doesn't mention the name of the school you're applying to, it's perfectly acceptable to send a photocopy.

Just insist on getting those 2 more photocopies... It's not really anymore work for her. It's too bad you got a weird counselor. :[
