AP US history vs regular US History

What are the benefits of doing AP US History over regular US History for a student interested in taking Economics at the UG level.

if you are looking into going to a selective school, definitely take ap us history. it's one of those known "tough" classes with a heavy workload, it will show colleges that you took the hardest classes available. I took it my junior year, the material isn't difficult, just a lot of busy work. It really gives you a sense of how much homework you can do.
