Santa Monica college - Taking language classes in order?

Hi. It's my first time to take classes and I am in the process of pre-enrolling
and I am pretty in panick at this step.

To transfer in the future to UC and USC, I am required to take Foreign Language 1, 2, 3.
And I am planning to take a Japanese course but the problem is all of the Japanese 1 classes are closed now!
So I had no choice but to add Japanese 2 (I am pretty confident with Japanese, don't worry about the class level)

but here is my question :
Is it OK to take Japanese 2 first and then take Japanese 1 in the next semester? Should I take a Foreign Language course in this 1- 2- 3 order?

Double check, but often you only need to pass the LAST required class in a foreign language sequence. If so, you may need to only take Japanese 2 and 3.
