Traditionally, CCs do not have dorms. For example, in my home state of Pennsylvania, there are over fifteen distinct CC campuses. One offers dorms.

There are a few community colleges in New York do offer housing. But where do you live? You could try Clinton CC in Plattsburg, Herkimer County CC, or some in SUNY institutions like Jamestown CC, Monroe CC, Genesee CC, Niagara County CC, Mohawk Valley CC in Utica... There are also some other CCs but I do not remember the names right now.

Good luck!

Add Sullivan County CC, Finger Lakes CC, Fulton-Montgomery CC and North Country CC in Saranac Lake. Incidentally, what is a "non competitive CC?" NYS's community colleges are all non-competitive in the sense that they will admit anyone who has earned a high school diploma.
