Forum seems slow

Is it something with my computer or has the forum been running exceptionally slow. I can surf to other websites and navigate quickly, but this forum seems to load extremely slow. Anyone else?

It's slow once in a while, but when I check back it's usually back to speed.

I second that. At first I thought it was my stupid computer, but every other site is loading much, much faster. This is earthly slow for me. Hope something happens to speed it up.

It was slow on Saturday after the SAT. Since a lot of students took the PSAT today, I'm assuming the forum is slow due to that traffic.

Crawling that's for sure

you'd think that the upgrades they just installed would have solved this. I mean this is not even the heat of acceptances yet..........not a good sign.

Yes, it is a bit concerning. I mean, I understand traffic is high, but let's wait till EA/ED decisions come in...it'll be moving so slow!

probably crash. SAT time was terrible. sudden rush of posts, with an average of 387 posts per minute.

We're working on the transient slowness issue. We've also got another upgrade in process that should keep things brisk.

Forums seem very slow today - 30 to 60 seconds to load a page - anyone else noticing the same?

This place used to be fun......that element has been removed.....I don't get it. I mean waiting.....waiting.......it is like dial up used to be 6 years ago and I got rid of that.
