Ivy Board?

I think the boards for Ivy-League and similar top schools are some of the most active boards on CC. However, many of us are applying to more than one school or have questions have questions about multiple institutions. Is it possible to make a general board for Ivies/Top Schools so that if someone has a question they don't have to post it in 5, 8 or 10 different boards?

I think this is an excellent idea. Top school applicants are by far the most active on these boards (just look at our post counts), so it would really help to be able to consolidate our interests. A general board for the top U.S. schools would be much welcomed and much more convenient/efficient than having to post questions on five or six boards, which ends up unnecessarily taking up more board space.

I completely agree. In fact, I was thinking of making a similar thread.

The "ivies" thread is really popular. An Ivy board could be a good idea (I'd imagine it'd be under Admissions + Search, then under Ivy League, and have a title "General Ivy Discussion")

Can't it be possible to post here directly without going into a sub-board?

That's a good idea astrix. The individual ivy folders could float above the other posts.
