You may have noticed an annoying slowness in the forum at times. We'll be taking the site offline briefly for a hardware change/upgrade. Exact time hasn't been determined yet, but we'll keep you posted. We'll try to do this in the wee hours, US time.
Thanks for your patience.

We seem to be back - sorry for the "prime time" outage, but we were running so slowly we felt it was better to address the issue right away. Thaks for your patience!

vBulletin sucks... prolly cause that damn eval() command is used sooooo much. Puts a strain on the server.

It's still slow for me...it's getting a bit annoying. I mean I can deal, but it's taking forever for it to load "New Posts" especially

Hmmm, maybe a temporary or local condition... seems very quick right now.

You're right. It does now, but I guess I was responding to a little earlier when it was a bit slow but faster than it's been, though it's up to speed now. |

Here at my house in CT (with cable access) the response time is still fluctuating from slow to ok. Not zippy by any means.

Taking from 17 to 48 seconds for a page to load. Have cable and no other sites are slow. Becoming an aversive experience, creating avoidance behavior.

Slow, slower, slower.....it is crawling again. Just for primetime sports, why bother when the best times are now guaranteed to be the worst times???? Gotta fix this, big times are coming, ED decisions etc. What is the plan??
