There's a thread in the Admissions forum (
Be cautious when giving essays to others) cautioning people to take care when PMing their essays to posters they don't know and trust. It seems as though a lot of people have been posting essay-reading requests recently, and I thought it might be nice if the information in banedon17's original post could be added to the "Posting Essays and Other Sensitive Information" sticky that's already up there.
