60 seconds? confuzzled

I thought that you search every 30 seconds, but today I noticed it told me I had to wait a full 60 seconds. Is there a reason for this?

whenever you search, it requires a mysql query... meaning that it bogs down the server even more.

i wonder if fulltext searching is on... hhmm...

I use the trackpad on my iBook to click, and every now and then I accidentally double click because it's so damn sensitive... which takes me directly to the "Please wait 60 seconds" page. It's really irritating.

I hope this is only temporary. At first I was like okay this is weird, but now it's getting on my nerves. I don't even use the cc front page to navigate. I strictly use the "new posts" feature.
