How to post links to threads

Suppose there's this REALLY good thread on a forum. How do I post a link to that without copy+Pasting the URL? I just want the link to be there with the name of the thread.
I'm probably sounding confusing, so let me know if I need to clarify!

Hi Mathguy,

You actually can just paste in the URL and vBulletin will replace it with the thread name, as below. This is a link to this thread:
