Could this annoying/intrusive McDonald's ad be a virus??

Very interesting how all of a sudden, right after CC was having issues with malware, this pesky ad shows up. Is this something that has been ok'd by CC? Or is this an ad that we should be suspicious of? I tried to block it with by going to tools, block pop ups, but no success.

Dear Roger:
The McDonald's ad is by far the most annoying ad ever on CC. I understand ads, but this one is obnoxious, and I hope CC reconsiders this type of ad animation and placement.

It's my understanding that this is one of the malware issues . . . and not an attempt by CC to increase advertising revenues!
