forums unreachable on Apple laptop!

Today I am not able to access the forum on my mac laptop. I can access the college confidential main site, just not the discussion board. I get a "bad server" message. This has never happened before.

I'm on a PC now,and everything works fine on here. Please tell me that my laptop will be able to access the discussion boards soon! - I hope my Mac server didn't get cut our somehow when you updated your servers. Thanks.

ASAP

The forum software hasn't changed at all. Maybe your laptop cached a bad IP address?

I'll try this, tanman, thanks.

RDooley - how would something like that happen? It's been working well for months, and this afternoon even the 'History" where I've been before comes up with the same problem.
My mac-savvy son is backpacking for the week, so I'm on my own.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Hmmm.
This is what I get:

"Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Size of a request header field exceeds server limit."

(then a bunch of cookie numbers)

Apache/2.20 (Unix) DAV/2PHP/4.4.2 Server at talk.collegeconfidential.com Port 80

Any reason the site wouldn't recognize Safari?

Maybe it's Safari's problem. I can't seem to clear the cache even following the directions. I press "clear" on the tab and nothing happens.

I can get to the "classic" version of the discussion, but I get the Bad Request even if I press the link to the "New college discussion" forum.
I've tried all the cached stuff as well as trying to go through my "history" and continue to get the same response. Weird.

Yes! Removing all the cookies did the trick. Thanks so much, Anthony and all!

Glad it worked. Sometimes you just have to toss your cookies!

Now my mind is filled of vomitting laptops. Do they vomit out chips? Wire?

I am greatly disturbed.
