Count me in as wanting the search function back. I only read certain topics and don't have time to browse each category. Without a search function many topics will be repeated when the best answer to the question will be in the original thread. Shame.....

We briefly disabled searching to keep the forum performance as high as possible under heavy load. We're doing some server work to improve capacity, so bear with us if the search feature occasionally does a vanishing act.

Game, set, match. I never experienced the slow load time, it was probably due to all the EAers checking the fourms out.

Though I see why the find all posts by a user would be a useful feature to some, in my opinion, if something had to go, it should be that. It seems to only encourage "post stalking."
