| No more searching ! :( !
Is this happening on anyone else's computer, or is it just mine? I went to a new page, going to click on new posts and it says "searching has been disable"...strange. I hope it comes back soon |

it's probably because the pages were getting slower. I'm disappointed, it's an easy way to see the newest posts. No use crying over spilled milk |

Glad to hear it only because I thought maybe it was just me (for overdoing it) I wonder if it will be back?

Probably took it away because people would just click on new posts too much. I personally never used this feature because I only use 3 or 4 fourms; and most of the time the new posts were like all ivy league or high school life/SAT prep stuff which is of no interest to me.

This is really dumb. The Search function is a necessary feature in a forum like this.

I use all the forums frequently so it was really cool for me. Now, I have to go to each forum and look to see if someone replied. It's kinda a bummer

We need the searching back, otherwise there will be so many repeated questions and posts that could have easily been searched.

I think you have to go back to each separate forum b/c the new posts feature only shows up to 20 pages worth of new threads. I have never seen it go past 20 pgs.
Unless you're on CC so much that you would never let it reach 20 |

We need the searching tool back. These forums are almost useless without it. How will we find the information that we need- which is what this website was all about... or so I thought.
Please bring back searching! We all need it, and there will be some very disappointed CC'ers if it is not brought back! |

I agree... searching is a necessary function if these forums are going to accumulate useful informaiton year-to-year! I bet it's a temporary thang though...

I needed some info which I'm sure I can find by searching, but it's been disabled...
I do hope this is a temporary traffic-management thing
