Issues Logging in/out/getting logged off of the CC site.

If your having issues logging in or out of the site, please delete all cookies related to CC in your browser.

For IE users, click tools, in the drop down menu: click internet options, in the new window: click the general tab, under the temporary internet files section: click the delete cookies button.

Note for IE users, if you do not wish to delete all of your cookies as above, please use do this:

1. Search your hard drive for a folder labeled "Cookies."

2. Open the folder.

3. Note the list of text files with names of the form "user@sitename." These are cookies.

4. Select the cookies you want to delete (you may want to keep the ones from sites you visit often).

5. Press the Delete key to delete the selected cookies.

For Mozilla/FireFox users, click tools, options, privacy, then click the + symbol next to the word cookies, the new options to "view cookies" will appear, remove any cookies related to the domain, you should remove the cookies labled below:

collegeconfidential.com
talk.collegeconfidential.com
dev.collegeconfidential.com
__utmc
__utmz
__utma
__utmb

For Netscape users:

1. Search your hard drive for a file labeled "cookies.txt." This file contains all the cookies that Netscape has downloaded.

2. Select the cookies file.

3. Press the Delete key to delete the Netscape cookies.

For AOL users:

1. Click Start, select Settings and Control Panel.
2. Double-click Internet Options to open Internet Properties.
3. Click Settings.
4. Click View Files.
5. Click Edit then Select All.
6. Click File then Delete.
7. Close and relaunch your browser.
