Anybody out there see that Cornell U had extended the fall 2006 transfer deadline until June 1???? I busted my butt working on the app. in the middle of finals and term paper due dates. It was posted twice on the website. There was a banner reading, "It's not too late to apply to Cornell for Fall 2006 Transfer!" and a deadline chart with the June 1 extension posted. Now the site reads, "The PUBLISHED date for fall 2006 transfer WAS March 15." When I called about my app., they at first said it was missing. When I called back to tell them I was mailing them another app. they claimed that they had returned the app. to me as the deadline was Mar. 15. It's been a month and nothing has come from Cornell. Now they claim that they had extended the deadline to April 15. Anyone having this experience? I'ld like to know if anyone else applied in May. It seems to me that they need to honor their own extension. Are they trying to bump the app #s? They had my phone and email. If I had not called to verify that my app. was complete I would never have known that they had lost and/or refused it!? Help!! I'm dying here!
