major breach of privacy

the new feature, when viewing people's profiles, you can see EXACTLY where they were more recently, such as

Viewing Private Message _________ @ 08:57 PM

the "_______" is actually the OTHER private messager! (i.e. not the person with the profile)

this is a bit crazy. i recommend removing the entire feature ASAP. (how the hell would any one use this feature in an appropriate manner? it's a bit creepy that anyone can find out exactly where you have been on CC in the last two minutes,)

I don't see how this is a privacy issue, your using a "PUBLIC" website.

^^ one can make the same argument for mandatorily listing each user's email address and IP address in his/her profile.

there is no appropriate use for this history feature. there is also no need for it. including it doesn't make CC more professional. on the other hand, it makes it appear like some random site with no regard for privacy of its members. anthonyg/other mods please consider removing it

I agree. I think if we took a vote, more people would want it gone (and possibly replaced with something else...like the view number we had before) than those who want it to stay.

Plus, it's called private message for a reason. You send it because you don't want the rest of the thread to see who you're messaging and for what purpose.
