Editing time limits

I really don't understand why you only allow editing for 20 minutes. I can see having a time limit (although the other boards I know don't have time limits), but 20 minutes is kind of short.

The editing period is allowed primarily to correct typos and formatting or complete a thought. Longer editing periods allow posters to change their posts after others have replied to the original post. This can make the subsequent posts seem illogical or incorrect. If a member wants to change a thought or expand on it, it's better to do so in a new post.

How about shortening the minute rule? It can kind of get annoying. Please?

It's hard to craft a quality post, go to another thread, read one or more posts, and create another quality post, in under a minute. "Me too" or "I agree" posts don't add a lot to the discussion.
